Lori Kemper, AGACNP, CCNS

Lori is a dual board-certified Adult Gerontological Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and Adult Acute Care Clinical Nurse Specialist. She completed a Master of Science in Nursing degree at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, graduating with Honors in 2003. Lori was also awarded membership into the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing. After graduation, she led interdisciplinary hospital teams, creating and implementing evidence-based protocols for surgical patients, which improved outcomes in care.

Lori has also worked for various cardio-thoracic, vascular, general, plastic and reconstructive surgical teams as an intra-operative first assistant. She has also provided clinic based after-care to intensive care unit patients. Additionally, Lori completed medical missions in Santa Rosa de Copan, Honduras, with plastic and reconstructive teams, through Central American Medical Outreach (CAMO).

Through her own health journey, Lori discovered the world of functional medicine. Turning to a focus on wellness instead of a delayed illness model to heal herself, Lori shares her extensive and expanding knowledge base with her patients.
